Anyways, I did go through with join the Army Reserves and I must say that it was one of the best choices ive made in my life. I am an Ammunition Specialist in the 143rd ESC command in Orlando Florida, and my unit deploys for Kuwait at the end of the year; and I am ready for it.
I realized when I came back here how much drama civilians cause and cant wait to leave again. Id rather dodge copper than lies anyday. At least I am able to trust those I share a foxhole with.
I don't write as much as I use to but every now and then I feel inspired to let loose a flurry of originality, as you may notice my poetry has had a shift to more or a military aspect. I dont want to call it a phase but I assure you it is. Im planning to finish the last 5 years I have in the army, then moving onto bigger better things.
The poem Interpret was actually wrote while in Basic Training on a piece of toilet paper I found on guard duty; but I kept it and its here; theres a second part to it but I cant seem to find it atm. Ill look later Im sure.
I know I misspell on my poems but its what gives it character and the resemblence that I am not perfect.
Other side notes; Renting a house, Bought a new car. YAY.
Peace.
